Long OVERDUE update

Thanksfully I didnt include updating this blog on a weekly and monthly basis.... but I have been a bit productive in accomplishing things on my list.

27- de- (insert ex-wifes name here) Joes bedroom :-)

DONE... dont think this one needs must explaination :)

5- no eating out during the week for 1 month

this wasnt as hard as I had expected... just created a lot of dirty dishes


9- lose 50 pounds

ok so I havent accomplished this goal yet but.... I am down 13 pounds- yipeeee!!!!

11- walk across the Brooklyn Bridge

Went into the city with Mom and Mike the weekend before St Patty's day... we walked around Manhattan and then came upon the bridge.
I have been on the Manhattan side and the Brooklyn side but never walked fully across the bridge- only half way. I have to admit that I wasnt as excited to do this as I expected... maybe bc there is construction and as you're in the middle section its all construction walled off... more like walking in a hallway with no ceiling.



39- put the maximum money into my IRA each year

2013 is done... maxed out!!!


46- learn to knit

I am not saying that Im good at it but... I have learned. I have no needle control so I also had Mom teach me how to crochet and that is working out much better!

57- put negatives on a cd disk

The woman at Walgreens might hate me but... its finally DONE!!!!

60- take the stairs at work twice a week for at least a month

I wrote this one with taking the stairs UP to work in mind yet... I take the stair DOWN at night so... technically Ive accomplished this goal too- ha!

77- go to bed before 11pm twice a week for at least a month

I was good for the month of Feb and felt great bc I was getting 8 hrs of sleep a night... havent been keeping up with it and think I really do need that extra sleep- makes me a nicer person at work ;)

78- get up 2 hours before work 2 days a week

this one is easy- I go to the gym anywhere from 3-5 days a week

80- go ice fishing

I went ice fishing in Febuary with Joe, Kids, My cousin... well lets just say almost all of WSS... I just stood around and drank by the fire.... but I didnt say I would ice fish- just that I would go... and I did.

96- go to the gym minimum 2 times a week

oddly I actually like going to the gym in the am's before work... DONE!!!

100- complete crafts already bought before buying more

this one I have NOT accomplished bc I cant stop buying yarn and crocheting things... but at least Im finishing those projects instead of adding them to my pile of stuff to do... but I have gotten a couple of things done... Slowly it will all get done.



I have to figure out how to post pictures (Im not as computer literate as Sarah) but once I figure it out... you will be the first to see

I had to edit my 101 list a bit... my cousin was a bit upset that I didnt include her in anything (yet I did have some stuff in mind to do with her and the kids but.... bc I didnt put her name on it guess it wasnt official enough ;)

I am pleased to announce that I have finished #6 :) last 2 books I found easier to read (less smut) and read them each in less then a day.....

#27- Dont want to say that I have completed it bc I want to do another check of the bedroom but... Im pretty confident that I can cross this one off ;)

Now if I would stop snowing and warm up a bit... would make it easier to check some more things off my list!!!

My 1001 Things to do in 1001 days

A friend made a list and I copied the idea (and some things off of her list) took me 24 hours to come up with them and some might be easier then others but.... Here goes!!!

101 things to do in 1001 days

1- go to 5 boroughs in 1 day
2- run a 5k without walking
3- go to a hot yoga class with Charity
4- no soda for a month
5- no eating out during the week for 1 month
6- read the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy
7- read 1 book a month
8- keep my kitchen clean for 2 weeks straight
9- lose 50 pounds
10- have a hot dog at the original Nathan's
11- walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
12- visit the Air and Space museum in Washington DC
13- spend the day at the Museum of Natural History with Amber
14- visit the Botanical Gardens
15- have Sarah tell me how she figured out when the 1001 days were up so I don't have to count it out on a calendar
16- makes blog and use it for 101 things in 1001 days
17- Have a beer in Germany
18- send my mom flowers... Just because...
19- de clutter my house
20- girls weekend in Delaware with college roommates
21- take a trip to PA to visit Brandy for a weekend
22- bike 10 miles straight
23- have a family picture taken
24- grow a garden
25- buy myself flowers every other month
26- give up chocolate for a month

41- use my crockpot to make dinners
42- have a candlelight romantic dinner with Joe
43- go on a family vacation
44- have a game night with Joe and the kids
45- have a movie night with Joe and the kids

48- use the laundry detergent that I made
49- play 9 holes of golf
50- have a 10 hour lunch with D,L and L 2 times a year
51- make a vegan meal for Uncle Len
52- see Uncle Charlie once a year (preferably more)
53- spend a day with my brother
54- ride a rollercoaster
55- go to DisneyLand
56- make a lemon meringue pie from scratch

62- get back in touch with 3 friends I havent talked to in over a year

64- 1 week- no texting
65- work on getting my teaching certification back
66- 1 week only watching the news- nothing else on tv
67- try a new food
68- participate in a flash mob
69- have everything packed a week ahead of time for a trip
70- go to a Yankee game
71- weekend away with my Mom (Delaware doesn't count)
72- picture frames under my bed for over a year- put them up on my walls with pictures in them
73- sing karaoke
74- setup my will
75- do 1 random act of kindness at least once a month
76- eat more fruits and veggies
77- go to bed before 11pm twice a week for at least a month
78- get up 2 hours before work 2 days a week
79- go fishing
80- go ice fishing
81- find a china cabinet to put my china in
82- find a dining room table (bar stool style) to match the china cabinet
83- stay positive at work all day for 1 day
84- keep up with the blog as I complete my 101 things
85- have dinner with Uncle Len twice a month while he is up in Delaware
86- have breakfast /lunch/dinner once a month (or more) with my parents
87- do spring cleaning during the spring
88- send a care package to a soldier deployed
89- volunteer at a soup kitchen
90- put pictures in my photo album from trips to Europe
91- go away with Joe and the kids for a weekend
92- go away with just Joe for a weekend
93- go to 1 or more of then kids sports games a season
94- help make a float for the Halloween and/or Christmas parade
95- spend a weekend in Niagara Falls with Kari
96- go to the gym minimum 2 times a week
97- procrastinate less
98- pay for someone's meal behind me in a drive thru
99- buy dinner for someone dining alone
100- complete crafts already bought before buying more
101- inspire someone else to make a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days




Making this blog has completed #16 and #15- 1001 days is up starting from today (October 7, 2015) - I also just completed #35 :-)
